I had started talking with Becket a few years back. I had found out that he was working on this blood drinker series and was so excited to read them! The characters that he and Anne Rice have sculpted are beautiful and enchanting. I couldn't put them down! I have read the full series twice now! I hated and loved waiting for the next book each time. The second time I read them I flew through the pages. I hope there will be more tales in the near future. I will not give out a mini summary of the books as I do not want to spoil them for anyone. I will tell you this, they are a perfect fit to anyone's vampire collection.Product details

Becket gets another A for Lowen the Dark Man. If I had even a hint of his talent as a writer I would be writing a volume here...but I don't.
I read this and I wish the story was all together AS I find myself a bit confused and without giving away too much it took a surprising turn. Still a bit pensive as to characters and purpose. I look at this as chapter 5 in a 30 chapter book as it will take that many to explain it, I purchased it on recommendation of Anne Rice and Beckett the author and I am willing to give it time.
